Add Title

Start writing…

Well, that is what the page said anyway… “Add Title” “Start Writing”… so let’s see, now that I have added and title and started writing perhaps this will go somewhere? Who knows… perhaps it will even become a blog and help me find my way back to blogging again.

Archery Arrows

You see, several years ago I began blogging and added kaleidoscope photos. The concept was life is like a kaleidoscope – if you change one small thing, like your perspective it changes the everything. So I took some fun photos and found one that I liked. Then I edited it in photo shop and it became a kaleidoscope. The photo of an image went from a normal photo to a colorful work of art. I have added some previously used kaleidoscope photos for you.

A Walking Bridge

Of course, since it is a blog there would also be words. If you know me you know I usually have too many of them – seems options and thoughts abound. So I wrote about something that I found to be thought provoking and often slightly entertaining. Combined the photos and the words and a blog was created.

A Dandelion

I stopped writing when life became very busy. Life is still busy, but there is a therapy in the writing. So here I am back again to share. I hope you find these encouraging and thought provoking. Today is nothing noteworthy- just a “hello” I have missed you – good to “see” you again. I will be back later this week. Have a great week my friends – you are fearfully and wonderfully made – you are unique and special!

See you soon!

Cindy

Just another day…..

Hello Friends! I am Dr. Cindy Freer Conley, and I am so glad you are here! It is so nice to "meet" you. I am entering the world of blogging for the first time, I hope you find these readings worthwhile, helpful and entertaining. I have spent my career in one role or another of the mental health and counseling world. I have worked in private practice and in schools settings. I hold a PhD in Exceptional Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. I currently work in public education full time and adjunct part-time. I am a wife and the mother of three adult children and the grandmother of one young lady who is growing up way too fast. I didn't have all of the answers as a mother, although my kids would probably tell you I faked it often (I did). I don't have all of the answers now, but I do know so much more now than I did 27 years ago when I became a parent. I was a single mother for several years, and learned a lot about the unique struggles single parents face. I have spent time with great supports and time where I felt alone on my path - only to look up and realize I was never alone. We are all on a journey, enjoy the journey, but understand small changes on your part may make lasting impacts to someone else's journey.
